Competitive salary and benefits packageMonday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pmPermanent role with long-term career developmentAdvanced manufacturing environmentOpportunity to improve real production processes, not just write reportsInvolvement in new equipment, commissioning and production line improvementsWork closely with production, quality, maintenance, R&D and supply chain teamsStrong focus on continuous improvement, quality and process reliabilityWhat you'll be doing You will be responsible for improving and maintaining safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing processes.The role will include:Improving manufacturing processes to reduce waste, downtime and variationSupporting production teams with day-to-day process issuesUsing data to improve quality, efficiency and first-time-right performanceCreating and maintaining work instructions and process documentationSupporting RCA, FMEA, SPC and corrective action activityHelping reduce scrap, non-conformance and repeat process problemsSupporting ISO quality standardsTraining and coaching operators and technicians on process standardsSupporting New Product Introduction into productionGetting involved in Lean and continuous improvement projectsSupporting new equipment, automation, upgrades and commissioning activityCommissioning and equipment projects You will also support process engineering activity around new production lines and capital equipment.This may include process requirements, validation plans, commissioning checks, installation verification, functional testing, performance validation, handover documentation and operator / maintenance team training.What we're looking for You will need experience in a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer or similar manufacturing role.You should be comfortable working on the shopfloor, speaking with operators and technicians, looking at process issues properly and finding practical ways to improve performance.Useful experience Process engineering or manufacturing engineeringContinuous improvement / Lean manufacturingRCA, FMEA or SPCISO 9001 or AS9100Commissioning or capital equipment projectsAutomation or production equipment upgradesAdvanced manufacturing or composites experienceStrong documentation and communication skillsWhy apply?
