Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Infrastructure Engineer to join the Research Computing team at the University. The role involves developing and maintaining the University’s High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure, applying deep technical expertise to solve complex problems, support users, and enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities
* Analyze and improve existing systems for security and performance
* Manage system changes in line with standards and procedures
* Design, script, code, test, and document software deployment
* Provide technical support to Research Computing users (debugging, optimization, knowledge transfer)
* Act as a trusted advisor between IT and University stakeholders
* Develop and evaluate implementation plans for complex changes
Requirements
* 12-15 Years of IT Experience with Strong IT project & change management experience in large organizations
* Expertise in Linux server administration (with working knowledge of Windows)
* Hands-on experience with HPC technologies (provisioning, job schedulers, interconnects)
* Proficiency with HPC job schedulers (e.g., SLURM) and Easybuild for HPC app installations
* Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, SQL)
* Experience with cloud services (Microsoft Azure)
* Understanding of parallel programming methodologies
* Experience designing & delivering training (GitHub IO preferred)

Requirements
3+ years of relevant experience in Oracle Fusion HCM technical development. Strong hands-on expertise with HCM Extracts, BIP Reports, HDL Scripts, and Fast Formulae. Solid understanding of the Core HRMS module and its processes. Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Aptitude and interest in the Fusion HCM domain with a proactive learning attitude. Functional domain knowledge in key modules such as Core HRMS, Talent Management, and Compensation. Experience or exposure to additional modules like Absence Management, Talent, and Recruitment is an added advantage.
