Role overview:
Our client is a young girl who has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Learning disabilities and needs support with peg feeding, medication administration, oral suctioning, manual handling, hoisting and personal care. She is nonverbal but can show her emotions using her facial expressions and enjoys interacting. During the day she likes watching Disney movies, baking and cooking with her mum in the kitchen, dancehall music and sensory lights.
Shift Pattern:
3 days a week-every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm
What you will do
* Provide expert care based on a personalised plan in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations
* Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Your skills, knowledge and experience:
* Minimum 1 year experience within a care setting
* Demonstratable commitment to providing high quality, safe and effective care
* Have an understanding of safeguarding
* Excellent communication skills and be able to fit into a family setting
* Have the ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
* Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing holistic care.
