Job Opportunity: Production Administrator
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 pro rata
Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, 8am - 5pm
Location: S60 Rotherham (with good transport links from Sheffield and Barnsley, accessible via tram or bus)

Due to the continuous growth and expansion of a well-established global Manufacturing & Distribution company in the Rotherham area, we have an opportunity for a Production Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis. The role is based at their modern UK Head office site, which is both commutable from Rotherham, Sheffield, and Barnsley, and accessible via public transport.
Working as a Production Administrator, you will be part of a team of 2, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Generating and producing pick lists for orders
2. Ensuring stock levels are maintained
3. Liaising with suppliers to confirm lead times for delivery
4. Corresponding with suppliers via telephone and email
5. Entering specific data into bespoke systems to create manufacturing instructions
6. General duties such as filing and scanning
This role is suitable for candidates with previous experience as a Production Administrator, Payroll Assistant, Production Planning Assistant, or Administrative Assistant within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have experience using Microsoft Excel
2. Have worked in a manufacturing or engineering environment
3. Possess a good understanding of different materials and gradings
