London Hybrid Job Description AmTrust is a global insurance provider offering risk-management solutions and business underwriting. Today AmTrust International underwrites over $1.8 billion of gross written premiums and employs more than 1500 employees globally. We are currently looking for a Paralegal to join our team based in our London office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to gain exposure across a broad range of work within a busy and supportive Civil Litigation team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the litigation process from instruction through to resolution. Your duties will include assisting with case preparation, maintaining accurate file management, conducting legal research using a range of resources, and liaising with clients, counsel and third parties both over the phone and in writing. You will also support hearings and trials by preparing bundles and documentation, assist with disclosure exercises, draft and process legal documents and forms, and attend client meetings where required. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience working within a Litigation team. You will hold a law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law and demonstrate strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will be proactive in your approach, able to use your initiative, and comfortable interpreting instructions accurately to deliver high-quality work.
