£We’re currently working with two long standing clients, both respected main contractors, to recruit experienced Bid Writers. One opportunity is with a growing SME contractor specialising in high-quality new build and refurbishment projects across the public and private sectors; the other is with a larger, well-established contractor delivering projects up to £10m across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, and heritage.
These are excellent permanent roles for candidates with experience producing quality bid submissions in the construction industry.
1x Bid Writer / Bid Manager - Nr Epping, Essex
Join a family-owned main contractor with a strong reputation for repeat business and sustainable construction. Based in the South East, they deliver projects under Traditional and D&B forms of contract across commercial, education, and public sector markets.
Manage and produce high-quality tender documents and bid responses
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather content
Contribute to bid planning and proposal strategy
Maintain and improve bid library content and templates
Previous experience within a contractor or construction consultancy
Excellent written English and understanding of construction tendering
1x Bid Writer / Senior Bid Writer - Nr Bishops Stortford, Essex
Work for a privately owned construction company with a diverse portfolio of projects including schools, healthcare, commercial, and residential builds – from local refurbishments to large-scale new builds. Write and manage the submission of high-quality, persuasive bid documents
Coordinate with various departments to compile technical and commercial content
Proven experience in a bid writing or proposals role within construction
