Ground Segment Software Architect
We are seeking a Software Architect to support our client's pivotal projects in the space systems and geo-information sector. The role involves designing software for Ground Segment Systems, leading integration and testing, and contributing to proposals for new projects.
Responsibilities
* Serve as Software Design Authority for Ground Segment Systems, including Monitoring and Control, Mission, User, and Data Management Systems.
* Design and develop solutions using modern software architectures and techniques.
* Plan and execute integration and testing campaigns.
* Produce technical and development documentation.
* Participate in technical reviews.
* Assist in preparing proposals to secure new work, understanding client requirements, and articulating solutions clearly.
* Support hands-on software development when required, including coding, review, and prototyping.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or related field.
* Approximately 10 years of commercial software development experience, preferably in the space industry.
Essential Skills
* Requirements analysis and software system design.

* Linux development environment.
* Resource-Oriented Architecture (REST).
* Continuous integration/deployment (Jenkins).
