Accountant - £250 per day - Basingstoke - 6/9 month contract - Hybrid
I am currently recruiting for an Accountant for my client based in Basingstoke. This is a varied role working in a brilliant team.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the production of Management Accounts
* Review and sign off monthly payroll
* Manage the Fixed Assist Register
* Provide variance analysis and commentary for Store Overheads & Labour
* Preparation and submission of periodic returns to HMRC for VAT
* Prepare and sign off balance sheet reconciliations
* Manage all data IRIS - Leases
* Prepare interim and annual audit files
* Provide ad hoc finance support
* Provide cover to FBP
Requirements:
* Ability to prioritise and organise own work
* Strong knowledge of Excel; V-lookups and pivot tables is desirable
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Minimum 2 year's experience in similar financial role within Accounting.
* Experience of preparation of monthly management accounts
* Experience to manage a team
