We are looking for an experienced Seamfree Santoni knitting Technical Expert to support our growing seamfree and activewear business. This role will play a critical part in bridging technical and commercial execution, working closely with designers and business development managers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and guide development samples from a technical perspective, including yarn selection and combinations, baric structures and knitting programs, dyeing and finishing processes. Ensuring all samples are technically sound, commercially viable and fit for purpose in terms of structure, performance, and appearance.
* Take ownership of sample quality and fitting performance, including troubleshooting development and fitting issues, providing clear and practical solutions to improve first-time-right rate.
* Work closely with business development managers and designers to assess feasibility of new developments, manage customer expectations on performance.
* Improve development efficiency and reduce rework, strengthening technical knowledge within the wider team.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Diploma or above, with minimum 10 years’ experience in seamfree knitting. Strong expertise in Santoni machines and programming logic, seamfree production workflow, yarn behaviour, dyeing and finishing impact on performance.
* Highly experienced industry professional, with exposure to major international brands, experience in shapewear or sportswear.
* Strong communication skills and team spirit, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical, business development and design team.
