The role involves supervising operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities:
* Supervise day-to-day delivery of construction, highways, and maintenance works
* Manage operatives, subcontractors, materials, plant, and labour resources
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Carry out site inspections, inductions, and safety checks
* Develop and maintain Health & Safety plans and risk controls
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
* CSCS Managers Card
* First Aid at Work certification
* CITB Managers & Professionals Health, Safety & Environment Test
* Proven experience within construction, highways, civil engineering, or property maintenance
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across North Yorkshire
