Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Nursery Manager for a temporary role in Oxford, this role would also be suitable for someone with deputy experience who wants to take the next step. This role will be working within a well established and thriving nursery, providing exceptional care and education to children in a safe and nurturing environment, utilising expertise in childcare management, nursery operations, and team leadership to drive excellence in early years education, and ensuring compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, Ofsted regulations, and health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be working with the already establish team to manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staff management, budgeting, and resource allocation, as well as developing and implementing curricula, activities, and programs to promote children’s learning and development, fostering strong relationships with parents, staff, and the local community, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene, while also conducting regular staff meetings, supervisions, and appraisals to ensure effective communication, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
Required Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong background in nursery management either as a manager or deputy, with a relevant qualification in early years education, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, or a degree in a related field, as well as significant experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in leadership, management, and childcare, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, and the ability to work flexibly, think critically, and solve problems effectively, while also being committed to ongoing professional development, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in early years education, childcare policy, and best practices.
