About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Ambassadors to support passengers at Manchester Airport as they adapt to new self-check-in and self-bag drop terminals. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth airport operations.
You'll be at the heart of a major change programme, helping passengers navigate new technology while providing support, guidance, and feedback to improve the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively engage with passengers to guide them through self-check-in and bag drop processes
* Provide excellent customer service, answering queries and resolving issues
* Offer reassurance and clear instructions to ensure a seamless experience for travellers
* Observe customer interactions and provide insights to support training and process improvements
* Collaborate with airport teams to maintain efficient terminal operations
* Identify and report technical or operational issues promptly
* Maintain professionalism and composure in a busy airport environment
About You
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred
* Experience supervising or leading a team is highly desirable
* Confident using technology and explaining processes to customers
* Able to work early morning and late morning shifts, on your feet for extended periods
* Proactive, helpful, and adaptable to a fast-changing environment
