We are now recruiting for a Trainee Quality Inspector to join our quality team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their career or looking to transition into quality inspection within a precision engineering environment.
You will receive full training to learn how to measure and visually inspect components and assemblies using a variety of metrology equipment.
You will also gain hands-on experience inspecting welds, validating components, and learning how to spot and record defects and features that dont meet specification.
As our Trainee Quality Inspector, youll learn to:
Support the non-conformance process and take part in corrective actions.
Visually inspect finished goods to ensure they meet customer expectations.
Help maintain the quality standards VACGEN is known for worldwide.
Collaborate with different teams to improve product quality from the ground up.
Update KPIs and metrics to drive continuous quality improvement.
Were looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in engineering, quality, or manufacturing.
Is keen to learn how to use measuring tools and understand technical drawings.
Has great attention to detail and enjoys problem-solving.
Is reliable, organised, and eager to develop a long-term career in quality.
It would be great if you also had:
A relevant qualification (or working towards one) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a similar discipline.
An understanding of quality standards like ISO 9001 (but this is not essential - well train you!).
Any hands-on experience from education, hobbies, work experience, or previous roles.
