Role Overview: As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll take the lead in supervising lessons during teacher absences. You will follow prepared lesson plans, maintain classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning. Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor: Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher. Manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment. Provide support to students in various subjects. Report on student engagement and progress. Always uphold school policies and procedures. To be a Cover Supervisor, candidates Will require: Previous experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, sports, youth work). Strong classroom presence and confidence managing groups. Good communication and organisational skills. A flexible, calm, and professional approach. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
