Job Description
3. Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliations.
4. Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
5. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
6. Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and documentation.
7. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
8. Respond to queries from internal teams and external stakeholders.
9. Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
10. Provide general administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. AAT Level 3 qualified (minimum)
12. At least 2 years' experience in a similar accounts role
13. Based in the Swansea area - this is a hybrid role with some office presence required
14. Confident with Excel and accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar)
15. A team player with great attention to detail and a proactive attitude
16. Ability and evidence of meeting deadlines
