Key Responsibilities
* Account Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute tailored account plans for key NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) across the region.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with gastroenterologists, pharmacists, nurses, and procurement teams.
* Commercial Execution: Drive product uptake and ensure portfolio positioning aligns with local formulary and commissioning priorities.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Patient Services to deliver integrated, customer-focused solutions.
* Data-Driven Insights: Monitor regional performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide feedback to internal stakeholders.
* Compliance & Ethics: Operate in line with ABPI regulations and company ethical standards at all times.
Skills & Experience Required
* Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
* Minimum 3–5 years of pharmaceutical sales or account management experience, ideally in gastroenterology, specialty care, or hospital-based portfolios.
* Proven success managing complex NHS accounts and delivering against sales targets.
* Strong understanding of NHS structures, access pathways, and regional commissioning processes.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
* Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
