Service Engineer (Plant and Construction)

£30,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Days Based + Workshop Based

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out all duties within a workshop environment, with a strong focus on the installation of attachments to machinery. You will undertake pre-delivery inspections alongside completing basic welding tasks, electrical installations, and fitting safety components such as green and amber beacons. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to ensure all machinery meets quality and safety expectations before dispatch.
This role would suit a service engineer with experience from the plant hire, construction, commercial and forklift vehicle industries looking to join an established and growing company offering ongoing training and progression.
The Role:
* Installing attachments on excavators and track loaders
* Welding
* PDI's of machinery
* Occasional overtime (1.5x)
* Days Based at a workshop (8am-5pm)

The Person:
* Service Engineer
* Plant, Commercial, Motor Vehicle or Forklift servicing experience
* Happy to commute to Rochdale
