This role will focus on planning, developing, and executing robust Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes within a complex Azure-based environment.
Responsibilities: Lead the planning and development of DR and BC testing services, ensuring structured and repeatable processes.
Collaborate with operations teams to align recovery strategies with business requirements.
Identify and address gaps impacting DR/BC readiness, documenting improvements.
Coordinate and manage DR and BC test schedules, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
Maintain and improve DR/BC documentation, including runbooks, recovery plans, test frameworks, and impact analyses.
Facilitate DR and BC drills and simulations, capturing lessons learned and implementing improvements.
Support audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments related to DR and BC.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in IT infrastructure, DR coordination, or business continuity.
Strong background in planning and service development, not just execution.
Solid understanding of backup, replication, failover, and recovery technologies.
Hands-on experience with DR/BC tools such as Zerto, Veeam, Commvault, Azure Site Recovery, ServiceNow.
Familiarity with frameworks like ITIL and ISO 22301.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
