We are expanding our Energy team and are keen to connect with experienced Commercial / Cost Managers who are interested in exploring opportunities aligned to our continued growth. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including major programmes with clients such as National Grid, SSE, UKPN etc supporting delivery across the UK. Within our Energy division, you will play a key role in areas such as asset improvements as part of a portfolio. As part of our Advisory Services team, you will uphold high professional standards acting as a trusted partner for our clients, ensuring efficient project execution and compliance with industry and company information protocols. What You'll Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: Implementing collaborative commercial models across major programmes Ensuring best-practice cost management processes are embedded and followed Developing and rolling out cost systems and processes across the PMO Analysing financial, commercial, risk and performance data Providing assurance at portfolio, programme and project level Growing a team of cost professionals here at Stantec This is a fantastic time to join Stantec as we continue to grow our Energy business. About You You will be an experienced Commercial / Cost Management professional, ideally with: A background in Quantity Surveying and RICS chartership (or working towards it) is a must As well as a project or programme qualification such as APM or MSP is desirable Experience working within a programme or capital delivery environment Strong understanding of engineering and infrastructure delivery in regulated sectors (energy or water) Solid experience working with NEC contracts Detailed knowledge of planning, reporting and cost management systems The ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment \UKEnergy \LI-ET1 About Stantec The Stantec community unites more than 34,000 employees working in over 450 locations across 6 continents.
