Job Description
As a General Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of a team to maintain our premises on both a reactive and planned basis.
The maintenance team ensures the smooth and safe operation of our facilities by carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair, tasks across our premises.
This is a hands-on role, requiring you to ensure our outdoor environment is always at its best for our colleagues and visitors.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar cleaning, maintenance, or facilities role, although full training will be provided.
* Proactive and reliable approach to your work.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
* Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and visitors.
* Keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
* Possession of a full UK driving licence is preferred.
* Experience with specialised access equipment such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers, or telehandlers.
Additional Information
* Undertaking minor repairs and general maintenance tasks to ensure all facilities are in good working order.
* Assisting with ad-hoc maintenance requests and supporting the facilities team as required.
* Chaperoning visitors, acting as a point of contact, guiding them, and ensuring they have a positive and professional experience.
* Managing and disposing of all waste efficiently, adhering to recycling policies and ensuring a tidy environment.
* Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facilities.
