Our client is an established engineering company and due to their continued success Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of CNC Programmer Setter to set or programme 3 & 5 axis milling machinery at our client's factory near Heanor.
The Role:
Reporting to the Team Leader the CNC Programmer Setter will be responsible for the setting and operating or programming of 3 and /or 5 axis CNC milling machines (Mazak and /or DMG).
Machining a wide range of large one off fabricated parts / components from various metals including stainless steels, titanium, aluminium, nickel alloys and carbon steels.
Candidate:
You will be an experienced CNC Programmer Setter with at least 3 years experience in setting and /or programming 3 and /or 5-axis machinery to machine large fabricated parts.
You will be familiar with one or more of the following controls systems; Mazatrol, Siemens, Heidenhain or Fanuc
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday days 39 hours + OT (Lunch time finish Friday)
Various shifts available including days, nights and rotating shifts
Benefits:
Excellent basic salary £39K - £50K + Overtime
