Teaching Assistant \n Location: Binley, Coventry (CV3)\n Pay: £455-£480 per week\n Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term\n Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm\n Start Date: September 2025\n\nAre you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant ready to make a real impact in KS2?\n\nA welcoming and inclusive primary school in Binley, Coventry is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting Year 5 in the mornings and leading small intervention groups in Year 6 during the afternoons, focusing on Numeracy and Literacy.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nThis role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and a desire to support pupils in achieving their full potential. You'll work closely with the class teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored learning support, particularly for children with additional needs or those performing at a lower academic level.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide in-class support in Year 5 during morning sessions.\nLead small group interventions in Year 6 (afternoons) focusing on Literacy and Numeracy.\nAdapt learning activities to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal needs\nWork collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCO to monitor pupil progress.\nPromote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement and confidence.
