As an SEN Teaching Assistant in a PRU setting, you will work with pupils who may display challenging behaviour and require additional support to engage positively in education. In this role, you'll:
* Support pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and additional learning needs
* Help pupils develop communication, social, and emotional regulation skills
* Contribute to behaviour support strategies, observations, and progress tracking
* Work collaboratively with teachers, behaviour mentors, therapists, and families to provide consistent, holistic support
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent experience)
* Experience working in a PRU, SEMH school, or SEN setting is desirable
* Team Teach or other de-escalation training is highly advantageous
* Strong behaviour management skills and resilience
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with complex needs
