We're looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team and help us maintain the high standards our customers rely on. If you have a keen eye for detail, take pride in accuracy, and want to be part of a company that's growing and evolving, this could be the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Inspector, you'll be a key player in ensuring our products meet exacting standards:
* Carry out quality checks on incoming tooling, machined components, raw materials, and outgoing products before shipping.
* Use first principle and CMM inspection to ensure everything meets the required specifications.
* Verify inspection features against supplier reports and our own manufacturing outputs.
* Maintain material certification records for future audits.
* Flag any issues through our non-conformance system and work closely with Toolroom Engineers to fix them.
* Keep the commercial team informed if any quality issues might affect delivery times.
* Take ownership of equipment calibration recalls and maintain up-to-date records.
* Produce clear and accurate inspection reports to keep projects moving smoothly.
* Training will be available to help you succeed and grow into the role.

What We're Looking For
* Experience in quality inspection (ideally in precision engineering)
* Knowledge of first principle inspection & CMM inspection (training can be provided)
* A methodical approach and excellent attention to detail
* A team player who can work with different departments to resolve issues quickly
