Are you just starting out in payroll and ready to build a career in a fast-paced, people-focused environment?
We\'re looking for a Junior Payroll Administrator who’s enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll gain hands-on experience and develop the skills needed to accelerate your payroll career.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Assisting with the processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls across a variety of clients and contractor payrolls.
* Supporting the team with data input, payroll calculations, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
* Helping to resolve basic payroll queries from employees and clients, escalating more complex issues as needed.
* Learning how to stay compliant with payroll legislation including PAYE, NI, RTI, and pension contributions.
* Working closely with experienced payroll professionals who will help train and mentor you as you grow in the role.
What We’re Looking For:
* Some previous exposure to payroll (e.g. work experience, internship, admin role) is desirable, but a strong desire to learn is most important.
* Confidence using Excel and good general IT skills.
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
* A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in developing a career in payroll.
* Bonus if you’re studying towards or interested in pursuing a CIPP qualification in the future.
