Senior Control Engineer Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Sector: Electrical Power Transmission & Distribution £60,000 basic Salary Bonus Full Package This employer cannot offer Sponsorship We are seeking a Senior Control Engineer with experience in control systems and automation within the power transmission and distribution industry. ️ Key Responsibilities for Senior Control Engineer • Lead the design and delivery of control system solutions across allocated projects • Produce and review functional design specifications • Oversee customer factory and site testing activities • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry standards • Provide technical input during pre-sales and design review stages • Mentor and support junior engineers within the team • Act as a technical point of contact for project-related issues Required Skills & Experience for Senior Control Engineer • Background in control or automation engineering • HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering • Experience in the electricity transmission and distribution sector ⭐ Desirable Attributes for Senior Control Engineer • Proven track record developing SCADA, automation, and communication systems • Strong understanding of circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and protection systems • Passion for technical leadership and team development If you are interested in this role, have any questions or wish to apply then please send us a copy of your cv Rob Utilise Recruitment
