We are recruiting a Trainee Financial Adviser (Wealth) for our client, who are a successful financial planning company based in Milton Keynes, with an expanding team of experienced Financial Advisers. They provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to individuals, families, and business owners throughout the country, including investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, mortgage, protection, and legacy planning.\n\nThis is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual with client service experience to join their proven training programme within a high-performing, value-driven environment and progress toward a fully qualified Financial Adviser role.\n\nRole Overview:\n\nAs a Trainee Financial Adviser, you’ll start within the client support team, working closely with existing advisers and paraplanners to learn all aspects of holistic financial advice. Over time, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and qualifications necessary to take on your own clients, with full support from the team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide day-to-day administrative support to financial advisers and the wider team.\n\nPrepare and process documentation related to client onboarding, investment and pension applications.\n\nPrepare meeting packs.\n\nLiaise with product providers and clients to follow up on documentation and ensure timely completion of cases.\n\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date client records and files in line with compliance requirements.\n\nCarry out transactions on investment platforms\n\nMonitor incoming emails and calls, directing enquiries appropriately.\n\nSupport compliance and regulatory tasks, including maintenance of CRM.\n\nMaintain full compliance with FCA regulations, and internal governance procedures required within the role.\n\nAssist in producing reports, spreadsheets, and ad-hoc projects as needed.\n\nAssist in the production of financial plans, suitability reports, and investment recommendations.\n\nConduct research on financial products, platforms, and legislation.\n\nDevelop knowledge across pensions, investments, tax planning, estate planning, and protection.\n\nProgress is through an in-house training programme and wider professional qualifications with structured training and mentoring.\n\nEnsure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n\nYou have a ‘can do’ attitude and are able to use your own initiative\n\nWorking toward or willing to work toward the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII or equivalent).\n\nExcellent customer service skills, with prior experience in a financial services or professional services environment preferred.\n\nOutstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.\n\nExcellent written, numerical and verbal communication abilities.\n\nExcellent attention to detail\n\nAbility to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.\n\nComfortable working with confidential information.\n\nGenuine interest in personal finance, wealth management, and helping others.\n\nHigh personal integrity, discretion, and professionalism.\n\nExcellent interpersonal, listening, and relationship management skills.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or financial planning software is a plus.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary\n\nFull study support\n\nStructured training and career progression to Financial Adviser role.\n\nExposure to high-quality, holistic financial planning across a broad client base.\n\nOpportunity to work with a leading local firm, within a respected network in holistic financial planning.\n\nDiscretionary benefits, pension contributions, and flexible/hybrid working arrangements.\n\nA supportive, collaborative high-performance work environment.\n\nOngoing opportunities for training and professional development.\n\nRegular company social events\n\nFree parking, onsite café
