Location: Redditch Full-Time: Permanent Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 The opportunity to join a trusted and growing residential groundworks contractor, specialising in delivering high-quality groundwork and civil engineering services for new housing developments. Taking pride in our strong relationships with national housebuilders and our reputation for safety, reliability, and professionalism. We’re now looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Administrator to join our busy team and help keep our operations running smoothly behind the scenes. The Role - As an Operations Administrator, you’ll be the key link between our site teams, management, and clients—ensuring the efficient coordination of projects, accurate record keeping, and seamless communication across the business. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and play an essential part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the company. Key Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to the Operations and Site Management teams. - Maintain project documentation, records, and databases. - Assist with scheduling and coordination of labour, plant, and materials. - Process purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier invoices. - Track and update job progress reports and timesheets. - Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication. - Support health & safety compliance by managing training records, permits, and RAMS documentation. - Assist with onboarding new site staff and maintaining personnel records. - Handle general office duties including filing, data entry, and responding to emails. Skills & Experience Required: - Previous experience in an administrative role (construction or groundworks background desirable). - Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. - Confident IT user – MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) essential; experience with construction software an advantage. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure in a busy environment. - Team player with a proactive and professional approach.
