Job objectives and responsibilities.
 * To undertake the planned maintenance and repair of the Electrical equipment, of building(s) as required under contract.
 * To carry out reactive tasks within SLA's
 * This role is based in and around Stirling, Fife, Edinburgh and other Central Belt locations as required
 * An Electric Van is provided as part of this role
 * May be a requirement to be part of an out of hours on call rota
 * Security Vetting will be required
Main duties
 * Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports
 * Carry out Reactive and emergency tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
 * Ability to produce permit to work/risk assessments as required
 * Identify and action any faults/remedial works inconjunction with the Helpdesk
 * Use handheld technology effectively to carry out all tasks
 * Assist other team members when required or as directed from Supervisor/Operations Manager(s)
 * Work with Energy & Sustainability Manager to proactively encourage energy awareness and initiatives
 * Ensure that all tasks are completed within the contractual time scales.
 * Working with visiting sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety
 * Adopt a flexible attitude in relation to assisting on other properties within the portfolio.
 * All duties carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
 * To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time, including purchase card receipts, timesheets and mileage returns
 * To forge and maintain excellent customer relations with on site clients at all times
 * To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
 * To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
 * To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required
 * To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
 * Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration
Person Specification
 * Qualified to City & Guilds Level or equivalent in relevant disciplines to role
 * 18th Edition Qualification
 * Commercial Electrical Experience - working in commercial environments
 * Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment
 * Including, boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables,
 * Batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable)
 * Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
 * Strong customer care focus.
 * Good communication skills.
 * Proactive
 * Able to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults
 * Capable of completing essential paperwork in accurate and timely manner.
