About the Role:
We are recruiting for a reliable, detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our fast-paced and friendly manufacturing team in Park Gate. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in managing stock movements, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are available where and when they're needed.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential, along with solid organisational, numerical, and IT skills. Familiarity with materials planning and working in a manufacturing environment is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pick, collate, and present stock parts to workshop staff for assembly
* Receive and verify all incoming goods against delivery notes and spec sheets
* Ensure all Goods-In paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
* Mark fuel injection parts for traceability and compliance
* Log all stock transactions using our computer system, including any discrepancies or adjustments
* Monitor and support smooth stock movements through regular checks and updates
* Create appropriate packaging and labelling for outbound shipments
* Prepare products for shipping (rustproofing, packaging, boxing, weight, and dimension recording, etc.)
* Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organised Stores area, adhering to health and safety best practices
* Handle deliveries of materials including tubes and bars
* Assist with regular and annual stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy
* Carry out occasional collections and deliveries using the company van
