About the role
Secondary SEND/ SEMH Teacher - Provision Huddersfield / Wakefield
Full-time contract, salary dependent on experience, training, and qualifications (£31,000 - £40,000).
The minimum requirements include QTS/ QTLS / Instructor experience within the secondary education phase in a school, PRU, AP, or designated provision.
This role offers an opportunity for a driven, confident, and ambitious practitioner to shape a new provision in the Huddersfield area, located conveniently near major motorways and road networks.
The Role
We seek a teacher with a strong secondary background, capable of delivering at least 2 subjects to GCSE level, preferably including a core subject. Experience working with young people who have experienced challenges, trauma, or require bespoke teaching strategies is essential. High standards and professionalism are expected.
The school caters to students between KS2 and KS4 who may have experienced trauma, disruption, ACEs leading to SEMH needs, or require alternative educational approaches to thrive.
As this is a new and growing provision, strong team working skills and a proactive attitude are important. Opportunities for promotion may become available as the provision develops.

* Qualified teacher or experienced Tutor/Instructor capable of teaching at least 2 subjects to GCSE level
