The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within an award-winning Marketing Team, in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns particularly for school events and the college’s social media platforms. From crafting compelling content to analysing campaign performance, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the College online and offline presence.
This postholder will proactively grow and further develop the College’s School Liaison Programme (via school visits), and Social Platforms (including TikTok). The postholder will also play an integral and active part to coordinate and execute the College’s marketing campaigns, deliver innovative strategies to achieve market growth and overall brand awareness.
As the Marketing Officer for the College, you will lead role in the delivery and coordination of secondary school events, taster sessions, college Open Events, etc. and providing support and information to key stakeholders: parents, school leavers, careers advisors, adult learners etc. You will also be responsible for producing content marketing to attract, engage and retain the target audience by creating and sharing articles, podcasts, videos, and other media, for the College’s content marketing platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn and any other associated platforms.
Experience of working within a marketing environment is essential. Other requirements include:
•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
•Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
•Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and best practices.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
•Attention to detail.
The candidate will be able to communicate effectively with people, work independently without close supervision, able to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines, providing timely reports and updates.
Given the nature of the role, the candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours and arrangements and must be willing to travel to secondary schools and to other external marketing events.
