Medivet Peterborough Welland Road is a small animal, multi–vet practice, led by our experienced and knowledgeable Branch Partner who is currently recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The lovely team at Welland road is made up of 3 Vets, HVN, SVN, VCA and the practice is fully equipped including three consult rooms, ultrasound, dental and digital x-ray etc!
This role is covering 40 hours per week, over 5 days between 8:30am-7pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-2:30pm.
It would be great if you had a clinical coaching background or interested in carrying this out to support students through their training.

Role Accountabilities

In This Role You Will
* Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients
* Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
* Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities
* Deliver patient monitoring and care
* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team
* Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care
* Dispense and check medication
* Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
* Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice
Your Skills And Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
* Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care
* Experienced in working effectively as part of a team
* Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency
* Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague
