About the Company:
We are a well-established and reputable company based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, known for our commitment to quality and long-standing success. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our friendly and professional finance team.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with day-to-day financial transactions, including purchase and sales ledger processing
*
Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
*
Processing invoices and credit notes
*
Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts
*
Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve queries
*
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks
Key Requirements:
*
Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
*
Strong numeracy and IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
*
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) is desirable
*
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
