Peartree House Rehabilitation is a 36 bedded private specialist centre dedicated to the rehabilitation of adults with an acquired brain injury (ABI) and long term neurological conditions which is based in Bitterne, Southampton.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join the friendly and motivated care teams. You will work closely with other healthcare assistants, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapist and Psychologists.
Whether you have years of experience or just looking to get started in care, Peartree would like to hear from you. Excellent training opportunities will be provided including being able to start a Diploma in Health & Social Care from day one of joining the organisation.
People who have joined the organisation will have opportunities to be promoted to Senior support workers and Nurse Assistants. Some have gone on to join our OT or Physio teams and some have used the opportunity as a stepping stone to management roles having been supported to complete their diploma level 5.
The individual we are looking for will worklong day shifts from 0800hrs-2015hrs. Ideally, you will work 3 or 4 shifts a week/

The job involves delivering care/support to our clients to meet their varying needs in the following areas:
* Nutrition
* Personal care
* Activities
* Assisting with medication
* Assisting with rehabilitation activities
* Socialisation
* Staying safe etc
