About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and student‑focused Career Advisor to support individuals in making informed decisions about their education, training, and career pathways. You will provide high‑quality guidance, helping clients identify their strengths, explore opportunities, and achieve their professional goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver one‑to‑one and group career guidance sessions
* Support clients with career planning, goal setting, and progression pathways
* Assist with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation
* Provide up‑to‑date labour market information and education/training advice
* Build relationships with employers, training providers, and educational institutions
* Organise and deliver workshops, career events, and employability sessions
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection policies
Requirements
* Degree in Careers Guidance, Education, Psychology, or a related field
* Relevant qualification in Career Guidance (e.g., Level 6/7 Diploma in Career Guidance – desirable)
* Experience in careers advice, coaching, or education support
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with diverse individuals, including young people and adults
* Knowledge of labour market trends and education pathways
Desirable Skills
* Experience working in schools, colleges, or training environments
* Understanding of employability skills and recruitment processes
* Ability to deliver workshops and group sessions
* Knowledge of online career tools and platforms
