Operations Analyst

Location: East Coast Business Park, King's Lynn, Norfolk

Salary: £26,500 to £28,500 gross per annum

Contract: Full time - Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm - On Site

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Operations Analyst to join our team. This new key role will be responsible for maintaining and updating our complex MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system. Working closely with the Senior Operations Manager and Product Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our inventory, components, and production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

This role is also suitable for those at an early stage in their career, as full training will be provided. As Norfolk Natural Living continues to expand, this role will grow with the business, offering scope for development and progression.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and update the MRP system to ensure accuracy across products and components.
* Investigate and resolve inventory issues within the MRP system.
* Respond to team requests for MRP updates, corrections, and adjustments.
* Work closely with the Product Manager to place replenishment orders.
* Track component inventory and create purchase orders in the MRP system.
* Request purchase order sign-off from the Product Manager, then place orders and track goods-in through to completion.
* Support continuous improvements in stock management, organisation, and reporting processes.

Key Requirements

* Strong mathematics and numeracy skills - Essential
* Logical problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to refine systems as the role develops.
* Proficiency in computer systems and software; experience with MRP systems is desirable but not essential as training is provided.
* Ability to build and manage spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) - Essential
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
* A proactive and collaborative approach, with the flexibility to grow with the role and business.
* Experience or ability to write code, such as Java, Liquid etc would be an advantage but is not essential.
* Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
