We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual who demonstrates the fundamental attributes of a successful surveyor. The role is based in our London Commercial Valuation team at 7 Harewood Avenue, UK Headquarters.
As an apprentice, you will enroll in our Apprentice Programme, receiving support and guidance to become a qualified Chartered Surveyor with RICS.
If you do not yet have a degree, you will join the Level 6 RICS Surveyor Apprenticeship, which takes approximately five years to complete. This route results in a BSc Real Estate degree and full Chartered Surveyor status.
If you already hold a degree, you will enroll in the Level 7 RICS Surveyor Apprenticeship, which takes about 2.5 years, leading to an MSc Real Estate degree and Chartered Surveyor status.
The primary focus will be within the London Commercial Valuation team, involving projects and transactions for a diverse range of clients. Opportunities to gain experience in other parts of our Commercial team will also be available. We support your study commitments throughout the apprenticeship.
Upon joining, you will be assigned a Buddy, Supervisor, and Counsellor to support your development.
Training and Development
1. Full APC training through an apprenticeship training provider, with ongoing support from the business;
2. Pre-APC mock interviews, presentation training, and seminars;
3. Continuous Professional Development (CPD) lectures.
Responsibilities
* Perform daily tasks assigned by your line manager and APC supervisor within the London Commercial Valuation Team;
* Take responsibility for work and projects appropriate to your role;
* Regularly liaise with your APC supervisor and counsellor to track progress towards APC completion;
* Primarily involved in producing secured lending valuation reports and analyses;
* Understand the business and departmental context;
* Ensure accuracy and quality in client reporting;
* Respond proactively to client needs and seek ways to improve products and services;
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external service providers and clients;
* Develop a network of contacts and be willing to expand it;
* Engage actively in learning from others;
* Communicate proactively with colleagues and stakeholders;
* Work collaboratively within a team;
* Work flexibly, independently, and as part of a team;
* Manage relationships with tact and diplomacy.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Achieved 96 UCAS tariff points or equivalent qualifications;
* GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent;
* Property work experience is desirable but not essential.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
* Proven academic and personal achievement;
* Motivated to pursue a career in Surveying;
* Good problem-solving and logical skills;
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
