Your Responsibilities:
* Deliver Inspiring Lessons: Plan and teach engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a focus on fostering a deep understanding of mathematical principles.
* Assess and Track Progress: Regularly assess student progress, providing clear feedback and setting targets to help students improve and achieve their potential.
* Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated and encouraged to excel.
* Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with the Maths department and wider school staff to enhance teaching strategies and contribute to the overall success of the department.
* Support Student Development: Provide individual support to students who need extra help, guiding them to overcome challenges and reach their academic goals.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS and have a proven track record of teaching Maths at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 & 4).
* Passion for Maths Education: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students to develop a love for the subject and improve their mathematical skills.
* Classroom Management Skills: Experience managing a classroom effectively, maintaining positive behaviour, and creating a productive learning environment.
* Strong Communication: The ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all students.
* Commitment to Safeguarding: A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students in your care.
