Role
Electrical Shift Engineer – Building Services team, based at one of our projects in London.
Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day servicing of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure, including breakdown maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
* Familiarise with mechanical & electrical applications normally encountered within the contract.
* Apply Safe Systems of Work in accordance with contract terms.
* Assist and/or deputise for the site supervisor when required.
* Take control of works requested by the site supervisor through to completion.
* Attend reactive calls and complete required tasks.
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) within stated time frames.
* Assist clients with ad hoc tasks.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and support training of the team.
* Maintain a full understanding of all plant and system.
Qualifications
* Recognised apprenticeship.
* City & Guilds Level 2 minimum / NVQ Level 3 minimum.
* Minimum 5 years in an engineering position within the service industry.
* Minimum 2 years experience managing client relationships.
* Knowledge of control systems.
* Knowledge of HVAC systems.
* IEE 17th Edition.
* IOSH Working Safely minimum.
