About The Role
Are you a friendly and child-centred person? Are you passionate about supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs?
* The overarching purpose of the role is to work with pupils who have learning difficulties, usually with a statement of Special Educational Needs.
* The ideal Teaching Assistant Level 2 will be prepared to support very special young people.
* You will be required to prepare and adapt materials suitable for pupils with learning difficulties, facilitate small group and 1:1 sessions, and support their specialised curricula.
About The School
The role will be within a Primary or SEND specialist school in Blackpool and surrounding areas, supporting young people with barriers to learning and SEND needs.
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will meet the holistic needs of pupils under the guidance of the class teacher and senior support staff, including working 1:1 with students with SEND needs and potential challenging behaviours.
There are opportunities for this role to become permanent after a qualifying period.
Requirements
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Prior experience working as a TA within schools (desirable).
* Ability to motivate and support pupils to stay on task and complete work.
* Enthusiasm for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* Commitment to personal learning and development.

Salary
£450 to £500 per week, depending on experience, training, or qualifications.
