About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our Onsite Restaurant team at Booker. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring our catering operations run smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing quality food and service.
Main Responsibilities

8. Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to customers.
9. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
10. Operate tills and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
11. Support stock control by monitoring supplies and reporting shortages.
12. Comply with all food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations.
13. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience.
14. Assist with setting up and clearing down the restaurant before and after service.
15. Work collaboratively with the catering team to meet daily operational needs.
You will need
What We’re Looking For
16. Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service is desirable but not essential, Training will be provided.
17. Strong communication and customer service skills.
18. Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure during busy periods.
19. A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
20. Basic knowledge of food hygiene standards or level 2 training can be provided.
The Hours for this role are Monday - Friday 12pm-8pm
