Exciting opportunity for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Leicester. Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary firm with over 50 years of experience, is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to support the Building Surveying team in providing building maintenance advice, undertaking condition surveys, and preparing specifications, schedules of work, and drawings for capital improvement works.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Assisting in the delivery of building surveying services
2. Conducting surveys and inspections of buildings
3. Assisting in the preparation of schedules of work, specifications, and tender documents
4. Assisting in project management of capital programmes of work
5. Building strong relationships with clients
Key skills and experience:
6. Degree in Building Surveying or similar field
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
8. Attention to detail
9. Proficiency in AutoCAD and standard Microsoft packages
10. Full UK driving license
