Casual Care and Support Worker - Weymouth, DT4 0DL, United KingdomAt East Boro, we are passionate about helping people live as independently as possible in their own homes. We are looking for Casual Care and Support Workers to join our friendly Domiciliary Care and Support Team.As a Casual Care and Support Worker, you will provide personalised care and practical support that enables people to remain independent and live their lives to the fullest. Our team works flexibly with adults in the community, supporting them to stay safe, healthy, and confident in their own homes.What Youll Be DoingAs part of the team, you will support service users with a range of everyday tasks and activities, including:Supporting individuals with their medication needsHelping with shopping, cleaning, cooking, and healthy eatingAssisting with correspondence and applying for jobsEncouraging participation in social and leisure activities, such as day trips, outings, and discosProviding companionship and promoting independencePersonal Care SupportYou may also assist service users with personal care tasks such as:Assisting individuals to get up in the morning or go to bedWashing, bathing, hair care, denture and mouth careDressing and undressingToileting, including safe cleaning and disposal of wasteMoving and handling, including transfers or hoisting where requiredSupporting with food and drink preparation, eating and drinkingMaintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanlinessWhat Were Looking ForWe are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate individuals who want to make a real difference in peoples lives.
