Job Title:
Science Teacher
Location:
3 Dimensions School, Somerset, TA20 3AJ
Salary:
Up to £39,500 per annum depending on experience
(not pro rata)
Hours:
40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract:
Fixed Term ending Sept 2026, Term Time Only
Start date: December 2025 (or sooner)

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire:
Deliver imaginative, hands-on Science lessons that ignite curiosity and confidence.
Champion inclusion:
Adapt learning to meet diverse needs, ensuring every pupil feels valued and capable.
Collaborate and innovate:
Work with a talented, passionate team to design and deliver impactful SEND provision.
Guide and support:
Coordinate support staff, monitor progress, and champion best practices across the school.
Be a changemaker:
Work with external specialists and lead staff training to keep our SEND approach exceptional.

Who we are looking for
We want someone with passion, purpose, and presence — a teacher who connects deeply with young people and adapts their approach to every learner’s journey.
You’ll need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A strong background in Science teaching — ideally with SEND/SEMH experience
Proven ability to deliver outstanding, engaging lessons
Experience working with young people with autism, ADHD, or challenging behaviour
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships
A sound understanding of current SEND practices, curriculum adaptations, and legislation
Full UK Driving Licence
