Fixed Wire Service Manager – North Region

As a Fixed Wire Service Manager with phs Compliance, you will:
1. Manage and monitor engineer activity, ensuring productivity targets and SLA compliance.
2. Process PDA timesheets, verify site times, and oversee correct PDA usage.
3. Monitor customer portal usage and address discrepancies in overtime and travel time submissions.
4. Promote safe driving standards, review vehicle usage, and investigate poor driving practices.
5. Manage employee absence, holidays, and sickness (short and long term).
6. Conduct onsite audits (H&S, vehicle, technical) and provide training/support where needed.
7. Oversee onboarding of new starters and probation reviews, ensuring leaver processes are followed.
8. Champion diversity and inclusion across the workforce.

Qualifications & Experience required for Fixed Wire Service Manager :
23. NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent Level 3 SQV).
24. City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
25. AM2
26. City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395.
27. IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to achieve).
28. Relevant industry qualifications.
29. Level 3 management qualification (or willingness to work towards).
30. Valid UK manual driving licence with 6 points or less
31. Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a field team.
32. Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evenings.
33. Experience in electrical testing environments.
