As a Senior Department Administrator - Certification Lead, you will provide an effective and efficient certification and quality control service, supporting line managers across the business to continually improve standards in line with operational and regulatory demands. Reporting to the UK AMO Manager, you will coordinate certification and inspection activities, ensuring that all assets meet required standards prior to load‑out and deployment.

This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a hands‑on environment, enjoys cross‑functional coordination, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and documentation accuracy.

As a Senior Department Administrator - Certification Lead, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing and coordinating job‑out certification and inspection activities.
2. Preparing complete certification packages for equipment prior to load‑out.
3. Ensuring all asset‑related information is accurately recorded and appropriately stored.
4. Compiling certification packages in line with predetermined company standards.
5. Coordinating with QC/Certification Engineers and Chargehands to identify equipment requiring recertification to meet job duration or parameters.
6. Liaising with Lifting Engineers to highlight equipment requiring lifting inspections.
7. Providing timely copies of relevant lift certification to the logistics department ahead of load‑out.
8. Completing or supporting completion of client documentation related to load‑out requirements.
9. Ensuring the location of all equipment is known prior to inspection visits.
10. Notifying Workshop Leads of inspection schedules and confirming availability of support personnel.
11. Accompanying Inspectors during all yard and workshop inspections and release activities.
12. Communicating inspection concerns or non‑conformances promptly to management.
13. Scanning completed certification data books and uploading them to job‑specific certification folders upon job completion.
14. Ensuring hard copies of certification data books are correctly placed with the load‑out unit, with locations logged on pre‑dispatch forms.
15. Filing or transferring certification documentation to certification support teams for processing.
16. Participating in the on‑call rota as required.
17. Contributing to additional activities as needed to fully exercise professional capabilities.

19. Demonstrate awareness of certification standards and their practical application.
20. Show understanding of equipment legislation and applicable industry standards.
21. Be competent in Microsoft Office applications.
22. Work effectively with minimal day‑to‑day supervision.
23. Anticipate future requirements and plan proactively.
24. Exhibit flexibility and adaptability across a broad range of responsibilities.
25. Apply strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.

QHSE responsibilities

You will:

26. Ensure all applicable quality and operational procedures, as defined in Baker Hughes policies, are adhered to at all times.
27. Perform all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes safety and environmental procedures.
28. Ensure all incidents and accidents are immediately reported and that all required documentation is completed.
