Mobile Refrigeration Engineer
We are currently actively recruiting engineers nationwide to become part of this exciting and rewarding journey within our Northwest, West Midlands, and East Midlands teams. The successful candidates should have a full UK driving license, C&G F Gas 2079 certification, and preferably 2 years of experience working on transport refrigeration systems. Experience with Carrier Transicold products would be advantageous but not essential as full factory & in-house training will be provided.
Earning potential: £39,520.00 to £70,000.00 + Benefits (further details available upon request)
£19.00 per hour plus £1.20 per hour bonus if all criteria met. Immediate start.

The Role:
Responsibility for routine servicing and repairs as required, mechanical fault finding, electrics, and all other duties associated with this role. Completing all work assigned daily, ensuring adherence to company and manufacturer standards and agreed time constraints. Ensuring that work is always to the highest standard, seeking to achieve consistently high customer satisfaction and repeat business. Maintain levels of stock on the van to an agreed specification. Confident in the use of PCs and mobile phones. Able to prioritize and organize workload to achieve set deadlines and KPIs. Willing to work in areas outside the main district as and when required. Presenting a positive company image through professionalism and quality of service. Maintaining a good working relationship with clients. Managing and prioritizing jobs and workloads, scheduling, completing electronic paperwork, and communicating with managers and senior-level staff members as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player
- Be qualified to work on Carrier, Thermoking, Hubbard, GAH, plus others as required
- Work to high levels of efficiency and productivity on their own and as part of a team
- Be qualified to City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Cat 1
- Be prepared to work on call on a rota basis. Basic hours will be 8 hours per day plus overtime
