Overview
Walsall Council is seeking experienced Social Workers – Ref: SS01325. G9: £40,777 - £46,142 per annum. Permanent, full-time vacancies across Adult Social Care locality teams. Applicants should have completed the ASYE program and be enthusiastic and dedicated professionals committed to shaping and delivering services with strengths-based practice to achieve the best outcomes for people.
We currently have a number of permanent, full-time vacancies for experienced social workers.
Responsibilities
* Carry out strengths-based assessments and support planning under the Care Act 2014.
* Complete comprehensive Risk Assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest Decision Making.
* Work within a multidisciplinary setting, including health partners, voluntary and community organisations.
* Promote strengths-based practice to connect with people, carers, families and communities to identify what matters and support independence and wellbeing.

Supervision and Working Arrangements
Frontline practitioners will receive monthly supervision. We support a work-life balance with a flexi-time policy and a hybrid model of home and office work. We have a lone-working policy to promote safety and wellbeing.
