About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a 2024 or 2025 graduate to join our Next Sourcing division, predominantly within the Menswear Design team, for 12 months, starting immediately. This role focuses on designing graphics and prints for apparel, giving you the chance to bring product to life - from initial concept through to a finished piece of clothing. It's an exciting environment where you'll see your designs go on to feauture in-store, online, and out in the world. Watching your artwork evolve into real product worn by real customers is a hugely rewarding part of the role.
The Menswear Print and Graphics team works across a broad range of product areas, including jerseywear, casual shirts, formal shirts, heavyweight jersey, loungewear and knitwear. You'll work closely with the Head of Graphics and the wider design team, contributing to creative outputs that make a real impact.
This is a supportive role focused on graphic design, artworking and assisting with core design processes, giving you the opportunity to shadow experienced Designers, gain insight into multi-functional ways of working, and learn how product is developed across multiple Menswear categories.
Hybrid working may be available upon discussion, and there may be opportunities to travel within the UK for inspiration and comp shopping.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting the Menswear team with artworking and graphic design tasks across all product areas.
* Assisting with the production of design packs and other materials.
* Providing administrative support, including managing day-to-day requests, organising files, and maintaining resources.
* Prioritising and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines while ensuring all outputs remain accurate and high quality.
* Shadowing Designers to gain insight into cross-departmental processes and how teams collaborate to bring a product from idea to finished garment.
* Conducting trend research, analysing competitors and wider market influences.
* Building moodboards to support design direction and seasonal concepts.
* Creating visual mockups to help communicate ideas clearly and bring design concepts to life.
* Collaborating with the Print and Graphics Designer to develop on-trend, cohesive, creative outputs.
About you:
We are looking for a proactive, creative, and enthusiastic individual who can start immediately and is passionate about design and Menswear trends.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, and confident in using these tools daily.
* Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and work to deadlines.
* Reliable, flexible, and consistent, with a positive, approachable attitude.
* A team player who can also work independently, with a genuine desire to learn and grow.
* A strong eye for design, trends, and creativity, with enthusiasm for seeing your work make a visible impact.
Desirable:
* Experience in graphic design within a fashion context.
* Knowledge of AI tools to support design work.
